Help me give my students headphones to communicate with pen-pal friends via Skype. Students will also use these headphones to create videos to practice their language skills.

My students are culturally and economically diverse. They are, for the most part, first generation American born children of immigrants from South America and the Caribbean. Many have experienced tragedy, discrimination and poverty; yet, they still strongly believe that education is their best chance at lifting themselves out of poverty.
My students are very eager to learn and experience life outside of their neighborhoods.
Most would be the first in their family to attend college. They participate in extra curricular activities, sports and work with college mentors in and out of school to gain the necessary knowledge to increase their chances at college admissions.
Students will use these headphones to practice their language comprehension skills. Besides listening to foreign language content, they will also headphones to practice their communication skills by creating short recordings of themselves speaking in different scenarios.
In addition, students will use these headphones to communicate with peers from around the world via Skype.
I am establishing a classroom partnership with students from France and Canada. Since we do not have a language lab in our school, it is my hope to transform my classroom into a language lab for French conversational practice.
With these headphones, coupled with our laptop computers and apps like Skype or WhatsApp, I hope to give my students real-time language experience while in the classroom.
