My students need extra Jeopardy remotes and scoreboards along with extra memory cartridges.

I'll take the Civil War for 500 Mr. L... I teach 11th grade United States history,11th/12th grade Psychology, and a yearbook elective. I teach at a college prep high school where all students participate in a JROTC program. Our students come from all over the city, and some take 2 or 3 buses just to get to school. Our students want to succeed and go off to college.
Last year through DonorsChoose my class got a jeopardy system. I was finding that my students were having difficulty studying for tests. With history, there are many different things to remember. I found oftentimes my students struggled on tests in general. I do my best to provide them with review information, but sometimes that just is not enough. I found that the Jeopardy system really helped to improve student success.
The Jeopardy system increased test scores and I would like to increase student participation even more. I have found that my students really enjoy playing games. In addition, when I play games prior to giving a test, I see a big increase in test scores. My students need extra Jeopardy remotes and scoreboards along with extra memory cartridges. If I could use more Jeopardy controllers in my classroom, I feel that it would really help to engage my students. I think that this program will help to differentiate instruction.
With more and more emphasis being placed on testing, I feel that we need a way to get through to our students. Differentiating instruction and providing students with this game will hopefully increase test scores. This is an excellent way to get students involved, working in teams, and hopefully increasing test scores!
