Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My scholars consist of a wide range of personalities that all have one thing in common, the eagerness to grow as scholars. With your support of my project, I will be able to provide my scholars with resources for success and to be physically active.
My goal is to help scholars find a life long physical activity they can enjoy.
My scholars are growing up in a low income area that does not predict their educational trajectory. My scholars will work hard to get smart, have fun, and will be college ready! They are researchers, mathematicians, scientists, authors, historians, etc. My students are the future of Dallas and members of our future society. Every day, they come ready to refine their motor skills and eager to learn about their body.
My Project
In today's world we use technology for about everything. It's important to strike a balance between using technology to encourage physical health and activity. The iPad case and screen protector would be beneficial because it will protect the iPad, since my scholars are using the iPad most of the times
My scholars are enjoying the iPad, but we need accessories to keep it safe.
The iPad has been be used for the scholars and has provided them with the opportunities to track their physical activity and use video analysis to examine if they perform the skill correctly. The lightening to VGA adapter would help my scholars and I a lot. With the adapter I am able to mirror stuff off the iPad to the projector. This is helpful because I am mostly in the classroom teaching physical education.
