Consumables for Kindergarten

Help me give my students the materials they need to help them succeed! Four and five year-olds go through materials quickly and we don't have the funding to replenish as frequently as they go through them.

My Students

My students are an amazing, brilliant, funny and diverse group of four and five-year-olds. Our school is an urban district and many of my students speak a language other than English at home.

Although many of these children overcome unbelievable struggles at home, they come to school every day with huge smiles on their faces, ready to tackle the day.

They enjoy listening to stories, learning through play and experimenting with the materials in our class. They are an inspirational group of children.

My Project

Children in PreK are always learning and doing, sitting still isn't for them. The children I teach love to draw, write and erase with expo markers, so much that markers frequently dry out. I am constantly making new games and activities for the children to play so we go through a lot of laminating sheets so that we can save the activities for years to come.

Due to the fact the kindergarten children are big doers, we are in constant need of consumable materials in PreK.

This project contains many different types of materials, all of which we need to help our class be successful. Documentation of student work in kindergarten frequently done through take and printing pictures so we need printer ink and card stock. In my classroom we focus on positive reinforcement to help major behavior and so we need materials for the classroom prize basket. Please consider donating to help my classroom gain the materials we need to be an education, organized and fun place where children can be successful.
