Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have an awesome group of students who are learning English as a second language. My students come to school every day on time and ready for the exciting school day. They love to read, write, sing, and dance. The students also love technology. Sometimes they teach me something I didn't know about computers. I really love going to work every day to see my students and to hear about the exciting things they have to say. My students truly brighten up any day.

My Project

These items will be used to help students maintain supplies throughout the school year. Many times students run out of supplies and parents have to replace them. During this pandemic, we are not sharing supplies to help slow the spread of the coronavirus. Because we are not sharing, some students run out of items sooner than others. This causes them to possibly be without supplies until it can be replaced. It would be great if students could have their own headsets, pencils, crayons, glue, and scissors to use throughout the school year without worry of it running out.
