I work at a Title I school in Florida. Most of the students at our school receive free or reduced-price lunch, 82% . They come from a variety of backgrounds. My class is made up of 19 students, all on varying levels. My students are a fun bunch of 3rd graders. They all have one thing in common, they love learning. The students in my class love engaging activities. I want to further their engagement by providing activities for them to use in multiple subject areas.
My Project
With these tablets in my classroom, we will be able to have a one to one ratio of technology with my students. By doing this we can do more activities online such as online field trips, and STEM activities that involve the use of technology.
Making sure these students are connected to the world, will increase their learning.
By having these tablets, they will be able to have technology with one to one, meaning one device per student. That way they can research what they want whenever they need to. It will also alleviate some of the paperwork in the classroom, and able them to be digital learners.
