Our children come from various backgrounds in a small community where sports is one of the last things they can still do.
We have 77% or more of our students receiving free or reduced lunches.
A lot of our students rely on sports to stay fit, healthy and out of trouble. However, most students do not have proper equipment and tools to practice with throughout this distance learning time. All of the students are very eager and willing to practice even though they are not in school and can't get into the weight room for strength training. A lot of them have to work to help pay for sports-related activities. During this time I would love to be able to help them out with the tools to help them continue practicing!
My Project
If you choose to donate to our team, you will be giving them the tools and equipment needed to workout during this time. They will be able to keep working on conditioning from home and maintain the progress that they have made this year! These things are truly needed for students who do not have access to equipment. These things will help them to maintain their cardio and strength training and continue to help them with their endurance levels. These are things that all track and cross country students must continue to work on.
