Keith and Isaac are two of my most engaged students. They come to class ready to learn and eager to do their very best.
My students don't have access to computers in the home, so the ones in my classroom are in constant demand. Students use them for typing reports, finding pictures, checking for homework on our website, and using educational software. Isaac and Keith want to help get another computer for my class so that everyone has a chance to use them and do their best.
We live in a technology driven world. My students come from economically disadvantaged households, and also are identified as having learning disabilities. They need access to technology in the classroom to build skills and to be able to compete on a level playing field. Students will be able to practice writing and editing, using graphics programs, word processing, using spreadsheets, practicing math with smart applications, and researching in all subject areas.

We want to get a new computer so that there aren't so many people waiting to use the ones we have. It would help the class because more people could use the computers, and we could do more things on them like our reading or look up stuff for our classes.
I will make sure that students know the rules about using the computer. I can also help kids that don't know how to do things like type. I will make sure that everyone has a chance to use the computers. When the teacher lets us come in at lunch and nutrition, I can make sure everyone cleans up.
A lot of my friends and I don't have computers at home. When I want to work on a computer, I have to do it at school. This computer would give me more time and chances to do my work and do better in school. It's easier to do good when we can use the computer whenever we need to.
