My school has a high percentage of free and reduced-price lunch recipients.

We also have a large diversity of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. This year, I have a mixed ability group consisting of nine boys and eleven girls. Some have grasped reading skills at a faster rate than others, and some need a little more time. They are eager to learn.

My Project

I am asking for computers for my students to check out during this school shutdown due to the Coronavirus. Many of my students do not have tablets or computers at home for them to continue their studies. I am able to assign lessons and do video lessons with them but they have no way to log on and complete these. I would love to offer them help and relief during this unknown time in their lives. This small gesture could mean the difference in their advancement or going backwards in their learning. Please help me to give them something guaranteed in this moment of confusion for them.
