My students need a laptop to assist them with classwork assignments and a color printer for printing.

My Students

A typical day in my classroom consists of working with students with special needs. I assist them with completing classroom assignments and projects in the regular classroom and in the resource room. I want all of my students to perform at the best of their ability.

Most of my students have learning disabilities.

However, one of my students is physically disabled and would benefit greatly from the computer. He has difficulty with writing assignments that require extensive writing. My school is a public high school in rural Alabama.

My Project

My students would use the computer to do writing assignments and research for classroom assignments. The printer would be used to print out the assignment for class. They would learn a vast amount of knowledge from research online and writing skills.

The project will improve my classroom by making technology available to all my students.

My student with arthritis will have a much easier day when completing his writing assignments with this computer.
