My students are enrolled members of the Northern Arapaho and Eastern Shoshone tribes, and 100% of our student population is Native American. Our students are working hard in the classroom and have set all kinds of goals to achieve throughout their time at our high school!
I am the only science teacher in the high school, so I see almost 100% of our student body throughout the week, meaning that projects that are funded for my classroom help our ENTIRE SCHOOL!
Our kids have some great and lofty goals, so let's help them reach them!
This week I learned that, due to budget cuts, I may not have the supplies needed for one of my courses. I'm teaching a Computer Science course to 11th and 12th graders this year. We had over 20 kids sign up for this class (AWESOME!), but we only have 10 computers! My kids are SO excited to be able to participate in this class, and there are so many opportunities for career pathways after high school when students learn this kind of information.
I want to give my students every opportunity to succeed in the classroom and in their lives, and the first step to doing so is getting them the supplies that they need!
I just learned about this problem August 6th, and students come back for school on August 13th! Please help me get my kiddos the supplies that they need to be successful Computer Science Wizards!
