I can't believe that it's 2006, and I only have one computer in my classroom. I received it by going to a computer class on Saturdays. The class hasn't been offered again. I require a lot out of my students when it comes to responsibility. I require them to do a lot of research and writing in my history class. They have been "spoon fed" notes and test questions. They don't know how to think and study. A computer would really help in showing them how to research with me to supervise. They also need to be able to discern between fact and opinion in the news. My students would be so excited to have computers to be able to use in my classroom for assignments. It would also be beneficial for them to use in studying for other classes.
