My students are around 80% Hispanic, 10% African-American, 5% Caucasian, and 5% Native American or other. The majority of them are from low-income households in an urban area. Around 85% of my students are bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish.
My students are always interested to learn new things-especially Computer Science.
I was impressed with this program by the way it draws students' attention with bright graphics and funny avatars. My students are motivated, but this program takes their motivation to the next level.
My students are currently in an eighty-percent digital classroom. They use Chromebooks for the majority of their assignments and have recently been entranced with Google's CS-First. It is a Computer Science program that teaches students how to create storyboards, animations, and sound effects to use with their presentations. My students have been inspired in a whole new way! Currently, our problem is that our Chromebooks do not have a right-click button and most of our animations require the use of a right click when setting up. We would greatly appreciate some wireless computer mice to help our learning go smoothly.
