Compassion, Warmth and a Sweet Thought

Help me give my students some stress relievers as they continue to adjust to our "new" world. We are supporting families that have suffered losses over the last year with thoughtful memory tokens.

My Students

My goal as a social worker is to lend ego strength to my students while empowering them to utilize tools to overcome social and emotional adversities.

My students are Rays of Sunshine!

Even though they have encountered extreme barriers to learning and being the students and kids they are, they still bring the energy, liveliness and passion each day to be the BEST humans they can be!

My students, "give me life," as I tell them daily. Witnessing their growth is rewarding but learning from them is PRICELESS! I want to continue to encourage and inspire them to freely express themselves positively, creatively and enthusiastically. I want my students to challenge themselves to push through barriers towards academic success as well as social and emotional strength. Carl Jung said it best," I am not what has happened to me. I am what I choose to become." That's what I want for my students!

My Project

The stress balls will lend to support students during moments of struggle with our new "normal." These sensory tools will be essential for ALL students as we continue to adjust to changes, challenges and barriers that LIFE in school and out of school bring.

These lanterns and flameless candles will support students and families who have lost a significant loved one over the last year hold on to sweet memories and know that their school community is holding them close to our hearts.

We hope that these materials give students exactly what they need to remain Strong, Resilient and Determined!
