My Project

Once a month families will come to the school and choose between many exciting board and card games to play with their children. They can even play bingo for books.

Games are a good way to open up family communication and bring togetherness that will enhance family values, which is an important role in our community of Inupiaq people.

Playing games also develops social and academic skills, like math reasoning and reading.

We hope to get more community members into the school to be more involved with their children's school.
