My Students

My classroom will be a place where ALL students feel safe, loved, inspired and know that they are capable of anything. My classroom is built upon relationships that allow me as a teacher to teach each student to their specific needs, and that they know I care about them in and out of school. My room will accommodate some special need children that need more of a space to work on the floor. Once a student is in my class, they know they will forever be my kid!

My Project

In providing for my project, you are giving my students a comfortable place to sit during independent work time and provides flexible seating for those who prefer the comfort of a floor. This area is used for whole group read aloud, social/emotional discussions, students reading independently, and to be comfortable in an intimate setting. The backing of the carpet will be safe for students as it will not lift up and its fireproof quality will meet our school’s fire code. Being stained proof I will be able to clean up after any accidents or spills. You will make a difference.
