My Students

The program I am funding for is our Summer School Aged Child Care Program. We provide services for students in 3 Year Old Preschool-Sixth Grade. We have about 45-50 students that attend the summer program.

It is our goal to get the students out of the school and into the community as much as possible throughout the summer program.

We enjoy taking the students on many different field trips from June-August. We want the students to feel like they get to have a vacation.

My Project

To get this funding would help cover the cost of summer transportation to swimming lessons, community pool/park, Library Programs, Beach Park, Kellogg Park, Bruegger Park, Malone Park, Lark Toys and anywhere else we would like to visit in the community with the summer program. This would help to take some of the pressure off of the families and would help to get these students to special education programs at the library and swimming lessons which are very important for these students living next to the Mississippi River. We also spend time picking up trash in the community parks. Thank You!
