My Students

Our school is energized by approximately 400 eager students. Over 80 percent are considered low income. Many of our students are being raised by other than natural parents. This especially includes grandparents on fixed income. Our school is some of our students "home and safe zone"

Our students experiences comes from what our staff provides as far as enriching activities.

The students do not usually have access to traveling for enrichment because of lack of transportation and/or income. The students enjoy working together and with project being funded we can continue to broaden learning and language development without travel.

My Project

Our students need enriching will have enriching experiences of community relations and language development to broaden their daily learning. They will experience collaborative group learning to understand that they are a part of a whole group. And we know through sharing and caring this language development and sharing activities will be positive in growth without costly travel.We are limited in access to travel to science centers because of distance and fixed incomes of families. With these materials we can create enriching daily learning environments for our eager students to increase the collaborative learning and language skills needed to be successful in daily life.
