Our School has a wonderful group of leadership students who are excited about helping those around their campus and in their community.
The classes are a mixture of 7th and 8th graders with culturally and economically diverse backgrounds who come together each day and decide how to better themselves, their school and their community by cultivating their strengths as leaders.
Students work together on group projects and create fun activities for all students to engage in on campus. These students hope to inspire others- leading by example with kindness.
My Project
My goal is to have a clothing closet on campus that will supply clothing and school supplies to students in need as well as their families. I am requesting rolling racks and bins so that I can organize items making it easier for community members to find what they need. The racks will also enable me to bring them out of the small room- providing a larger area for people to use. I'd also like to have our clothing closet stocked with new socks in all sizes. These materials will also enable our leadership students to set up a clothing closet filled with donations for needy members from our school and community. Students will help organize and distribute items to families.
We are hoping to have items in all sizes to service not only students at the school, but for their families as well.
We would like to provide clothing, school supplies, athletic gear for school sports and physical education, and school spirit attire.
This clothing closet will help foster students' desire to help those in their school and community. It will allow our leadership students to take pride in being able to help others.
