My Project

Help me restock my student-created Classroom Community Care Closet where all students have access to personal care items, hygiene items, hair ties, tissues, cough drops, etc. We also need to restock our cleaning supplies needed to keep our PE equipment sanitized and germ free so we can stay healthy, safe and workout together!

When a young person has the personal care products they need, it is one less thing for them to worry about and they can concentrate on school.

Also, a clean and safe classroom environment should be the last thing on a student's mind while completing projects or assignments.

Our Care Closet offers free personal hygiene items for students when they forget to bring them to school. The Care Closet has cough drops or tissues when they are feeling under the weather or other items to help them feel cared for and supported in my classroom.

My goal is to provide my students with the supplies they need to feel confident at school and keep a clean work environment. Cleanliness will help to create a healthy and comfortable place to learn. With cleaning supplies, we can make sure that any dirt and bacteria can be eliminated. With flu season around the corner, this is a great piece of mind.

Students tend to perform better if they are comfortable in their own skin. Access to the items in the Care Closet allows students to be more confident when they attend school each day. There are so many things we cannot control but the better we can make our environment the easier it is to focus on what really matters, providing a quality education for all!
