I love where I work. Not only do we have a wonderful staff, the students are simply amazing. The students love to try new things and explore. They always give their best and work very hard. I am so very proud of my students.
At my school, 100% of students receive a free breakfast and lunch.
They come to school and eat breakfast. This helps them to be focused for the day ahead of them. They work so hard for me, and I want to create an environment that reflects the hard work they put in while at school by providing them with fun and engaging tools to use.
My Project
Google Pixel Buds will allow me to communicate with parents who do not speak English. Often time I try to speak to parents who do not speak the same language as me and so we rely on gestures or their child to try and translate. These buds will allow me to communicate with parents in many languages as I have more than 4 different languages spoken in my classroom.
These would make a huge difference at conference time when many times we can not get translators.
It would be awesome to use these buds to help communicate the students' progress in the classroom. I would love to have the parents feel they can ask questions about their child and not feel like since we can not understand each other to not even bother.
