My Project

Children come into the special education preschool classroom with a wide variety of communication skills. Classroom teachers and the Speech/Language Pathologists work hard to give all children the support they need to be able to communicate their wants and needs throughout the day. Often we explore Augmentative and Alternate Communication (AAC) systems as a way to support children's communication skills.

Everyone has something to say!

Providing high tech AAC options to children allows them to develop a communication system that can grow with them as they age if they continue to need additional communication support.
