I am a Nationally Board Certified high school science teacher but I am also the Student Council Sponsor at our high school. Our Student Council simply does amazing things. We organize Spirit Rallies, Homecoming Activities, and raise thousands of dollars annually for the local Emergency Assistance Center.

Our Student Council has been chose to host the State Student Council Convention in the Fall of 2011. This will be quite the undertaking for our small school. We will host approximately 1800 student leaders from across the state. Hosting will also require approximately 200 student volunteers and 200 community volunteers. The most efficient way to communicate with 400 people is through Facebook and our school website. Our Student Council does not own a digital camera. We are in need of creating quality images that we can post on Facebook and our school website.

A picture is worth a thousand words! Two digital cameras will allow our Student Council to create QUALITY Facebook entries and website updates. Our Council wants to create a memorable State Convention that has a quality infused in every aspect. The ability to take quality pictures is essential to the success of our endeavor.
