My students need a effective communication center for them to share work with their parents and upcoming events.

My students come to me because they qualify for either KERA Preschool or Head Start. To qualify for either program, families must have an economic need or the student has an IEP. I have a classroom filled with twenty energetic, loving, and smart preschoolers. They range from three, four and five years old.
I am responsible for setting a positive, caring, and engaging environment for my students.
I am the first experience these children will ever have in their endeavors through education. I want to help my students see that learning can be fun. I want to instill in them the love of learning so that they become life-long learners.
As a first year teacher, I inherited a classroom that lacks modern day, interactive, and engaging materials. My students struggled to stay interested in the classroom's learning centers. I am requesting a variety of materials for my classroom.
Having a place in the classroom devoted to communicating with parents is essential to my students school lives. A effective communication center allows parents to see content we are working on in class that they can do at home. It gives the students a devoted place to put their work they are so eager to show their parents.
Communication is a key component to relationship building between school and home.
I want my parents to have access to papers I am sending home by providing them with a cubicle for their child. The magnetic strips will allow for me to personalize this area to fit he needs of my classroom.
