My students come from a diverse background, many of them come from a low-income household. All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch, as well as a snack three days a week. Our students enjoy coming to school and are excited about learning. They are excited to be at school everyday regardless of their circumstances. Our school strives to create an excitement about learning through our lessons and activities. This project will create an environment to help foster that excitement for learning.
My Project
I am committed to my students and want to ensure that they are learning to achieve their maximum potential. Flexible seating allows students to have a choice in their learning. This empowers students, allowing them to choice where they seat to learn. Flexible seating allows students to wobble, rock, and move; which improves oxygen flow to the brain. Therefore, this moving allows students to be more alert and ready to learn. Children need to move, flexible seating gives students this option. Flexible seating provides fun in the classroom. I want my students to learn, but I also want them to have a fun learning experience. Flexible seating helps them with that!
