My students need fourteen, prize winning Toon books for kindergarten through third grade, to engage them and help their love of reading grow.

My Students

I teach second grade in Buffalo, NY. My students come from all types of backgrounds and love learning. On the first day of school when I asked what they were excited about, they all said "learning." That excites me!

My students love coming to school each day and always have a smile on their faces.

They keep me excited to come to school. They each have such different personalities but their love of learning is the same in all of them!

These little ones are inspiring!

My Project

My students enjoy reading. Unfortunately, I do not have a classroom library in my class. I was just transferred to a new school and they don't have books to read when they are done working or have free time.

I need these books to feed their minds with the love of reading!

We need to grow our classroom library so each child always has a book to read. A lifelong love of literacy and reading is so important and I want my students to have it. Kids love to read comic books and these Toon books are so engaging. Please help me help my students!
