My Students
Students in my school live in a small rural area and many of them have recently experienced the devastating effects of a hurricane. They often lack the necessary materials to be successful in school. However, they are enthusiastic learners that are a joy to teach. They appreciate the opportunities they have to learn and grow.
Through reading, my students can go on adventures all over the world, and learn about anything they desire.
The students in my school are very diverse. We have many different families. Each culture has something unique to share with the rest of the school.
My students are typical adolescents that enjoy socializing with each other, laughing, learning, and sharing their experiences in the classroom.
My Project
My students often do not bring basic supplies to school that are needed to complete their work. The pencils and highlighters will provide each student with the necessary tools to write in my English Language Arts class.
My students need a comfy space to read and collaborate together on projects.
The couch will allow students an alternative place to work as well as providing a comfortable space for reading. The books I have selected will allow my students to explore different cultures and use their imagination.
The class pencil sharpener will ensure that my students will always be prepared to write.
