My students need bean bag chairs to have a comfortable place to read. These chairs can also be used as a spot to calm down. M&Ms are a sweet special treat for our accomplishments!
Our school is the Deaf and Blind Magnet school in Oklahoma City with very high poverty and diversity. These students have multiple disabilities including blindness and low vision. We are learning to read Braille and Large Print books. Braille is a special language for the blind to read by touch.
Magnificent, intelligent Braille students are working hard in OKC.
Some of our students have behavior or sensory issues. This can make a long day at public school even more challenging.
My Project
My students love getting into the classroom library to read. They can find the best Braille, Large print or regular print books to read. They need A Big Joe Bean Bag Chair to read while in the library. The 2 Classic Bean Bag chairs can also be used in case a student becomes overwhelmed. Having a safe and soft place to go helps many students. Our comforting soft toys can be with us in the library with the Extra Large Soft Toy Bag.

There is nothing as fantastic as sitting down with a good book. These students are working so hard to read Braille. Braille is very difficult and requires sitting still for long periods. With our support they can achieve anything!
