Help me give my students bean bag chairs to use for comfy seating during our temporary move to a new school. Sitting on the gym floor makes it difficult to concentrate and learn.

My Students

I work in a rural area at a K-8 charter school. My school is also a STEAM school (STEAM is an acronym for: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). I teach 3 periods of math to the middle school students (6th -8th grade) and one period of P.E..

We lost half of our school as well as the use of our school that did not burn.

We are currently trying to provide a safe and comfortable space for our students so they can get back to a semi normal school setting.

My students are mathematicians, writers, historians, and scientists all in one! However, we lost our classroom due to a campfire in November of this year. Over 90% of our students are now homeless without the majority of school supplies they need.

We have rented a temporary space in a gym but we have no seating. We are in need of bean bag chairs, a classroom rug, and clip boards. Please help us get back to learning!

My Project

We recently lost the use of our classroom due to the campfire and now need comfy bean bag chairs and clipboards so we can get back to learning. We have a facility to use but we do not have tables, desks, chairs, or much at all to be honest.

I am asking for new bean bag chairs so students do not have to sit on the floor to get their work done.

We want to provide a comfortable atmosphere where students feel safe a secure. One way to do this is to provide bean bag chairs for our students.

We also have no tables or desks, so clipboards are essential to our students being able to do work effectively.
