I am a first year teacher who teaches 4th grade in the Oakland Unified School District. I have designed a classroom environment where my students feel encouraged, comfortable, safe, and supported. As a teacher, I strive to make each of my students become life-long learners.
Being able to read and write is essential in becoming lifelong learners.
My students come from a variety of economic backgrounds and, with your generous donations, my students will be able to challenge themselves and each other to become lifelong learners each and every day. Thank you for your support, my students and I really appreciate it!
My Project
My classroom is in need of a new rug! The current rug in my room has been overly loved and is ready for an upgrade! Help give my students carpet spots where they have enough room to sit comfortably with the material they need for the lesson.
My students need their own space for them to focus and learn.
This new rug will help each student have room for their bodies and work. My current rug is not big enough to have my students all on the carpet at once. This new rug will keep lessons and learning very structured!
