My Students

I love watching my students grow as individuals. We have a very diverse community with a high population of gifted students and ESL students. Not only do I love teaching them, but I love being able to connect with them through their learning and watch them express themselves throughout all subjects. Each child I work with is different in their own special way and I love that my class is full of laughter, kindness, and love and I am blessed be their teacher.

My Project

Flexible seating helps children feel empowered to have a choice on where they sit when reading. It also helps make learning fun!

Flexible seating allows students to choose where they work and with whom.

It also allows them to change their location and positions as needed. Their comfort while learning is important and creating that comfort will allow them to strengthen their stamina while reading independently.

These seats and cushions will help my students to create that comfort that they long for. I know the floor can get uncomfortable after a while so I am ready to provide them with new seating!
