My Students

My kindergartners are from a diverse and culturally-rich area of our city. I want to provide opportunities for them to thrive while they explore and learn. They are inquisitive and creative learners who love hands-on learning.

When it comes to learning, they are extremely eager!

These kids are so thoughtful and imaginative! They are naturally curious. I want to guide them in their learning exploration by assisting them with their organizational skills to help foster them and help them focus on the task at hand, which is getting their materials ready for the fun learning I have planned.

My Project

Bright pillows and a comfy bench will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The brightly colored bench fits several kids with books underneath. The textured pillows allow them to choose the floor and the pillows are washable which is good for everyone involved! The pillows will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to stretch out. They are lightweight and can be easily used in many areas of the classroom.

I have seen how choice can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
