My Students

My students are part of a North Carolina classroom that is filled with engaging lessons and happy faces. Our classroom is more like a family unit where we care about each other and work daily on not only academics but also making personal connections with each other.

We're a part of a rural community with a lot of military connected families.

Our classroom is made up of a variety of backgrounds that make our classroom family unit unique.

My Project

Think back to some of your favorite memories from books that you've read in school and how they sparked your imagination. My goal with this DonorsChoose.org project is to help foster a love for reading at the very start!

This project will give students engaging books and a comfortable reading spot within our classroom.

I am requesting leveled readers for Kinders that are just learning to read! I am also requesting chairs and decorations to help make their classroom library comfortable, cute and alluring to new readers! The books in this project are all leveled for beginning readers.
