My Students

Many of my students are seeing school for the first time. Some of them are scared. Others are fully aware of what school is and are ready to learn. None of them have preconceived ideas of what daily routines and lessons are like. Their minds are fresh slates waiting to be filled.

They enter my door full of hope and expectations of learning to read and write.

And my goal is to give them the tools they need to fulfill their dreams. This prepares them to dream even bigger!

They all feel confident and are excited to participate when they enter my classroom. It is important to them that each day they go home with a feeling of accomplishment. I want all my students to become successful and responsible learners.

My Project

Young children need to move around while learning. By purchasing a rug for our classroom, my students will have a comfortable learning space for whole group instruction. It will have seating options and will allow the children the space to move without disturbing learning.

With your help we can have the flexibility to make learning more meaningful and fun.

A rug will provide the students with an aesthetic place for them to relax, learn and enjoy school. This rug, along with some cushion seats, will play an important role in our day because it will be our meeting place where great minds can work together.
