This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students come to school everyday. Some have had rough mornings or rough nights and sometimes they need a little extra comfort. The large size bean bag chairs give them a place to sink in and feel protected. They sit in them during homeroom, at lunch or any time they just need a break. This year we are focusing on SEL as well as traditional lessons.

Students emotional well being truly impacts their learning.

Providing a quiet and comfortable place to sit is important for the students to be able to regroup for their classes.
