My Students

Kindergartners come into school so eager to learn every day. For a lot of my students, this is their first time in a classroom setting. I want to help my students reach their highest potential in my classroom by providing them with all of the necessary tools to do so.

At this age, children learn and grow so much each day.

I believe that creating a positive learning experience for these students will transfer into their feelings about school for years to come.

My Project

I want to encourage a love for reading by giving my students comfortable seating areas around the classroom. The teaching table and the stools would be a great addition to my classroom because they will improve my small group instruction. With these materials, I will be able to closely work with my students while providing individualized instruction.

I would love for my students to have a special place to go while reading with partners.

The circle rug would make partner reading more exciting because students will have a comfortable place to sit while looking at their books. Also, the circle pillows would help my students find a quiet and comfortable place while reading independently.
