My Students

I am so lucky to teach in a community with parents who are supportive of teachers and students. Parents are very involved and want their children to do well in school. Therefore, my students come to school ready to learn and do their best each day.

In my classroom, I love for the students to be involved in making decisions as a class.

I also like for the students to have choices as to where they like to do their work.

My Project

My students in my classroom at this time have choices where they feel most comfortable doing their class work. The choices they have at this time are to work on the carpet lying on yoga mats or working using desk trays.

The students really enjoy not having to sit at their desk to do their work.

Having flexible seating in my classroom really helps the students who struggle being in a classroom where they have to sit at their desk all day. I would really love to have more of a variety of flexible seating for my students. I selected wobble seats for another choice for students to have. My students have used wobble seats in other classroom and love them. The wobble seats would be a great addition to my classroom.
