My Students

My second graders are wonderful students who come to school each and every day eager to learn. They love to read, write, do math, and be kind to one another.

I truly believe that all children deserve all that is necessary to enhance their learning but sometimes it is financially difficult to provide them with all that they need.

My Project

Our classroom has children from all around the world. I'd like to create a sense of community with a carpet that celebrates diversity. The Kids Around the World activity carpet has illustrations of multi-ethnic children, plus positive character traits printed around the border!

Having a reading nook with this particular carpet in my classroom with help inspire meaningful discussions while providing a comfortable place to talk and gather for group activities.

Kids want to feel warmth and comfort in our classroom. Having a warm, cozy reading nook will allow my children to sit and read comfortably during the day. Please help us get this carpet for our classroom so my kids are not sitting on the cold floor.
