Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are absolutely wonderful! I've never met a more kind, caring, or hardworking bunch of kids! I'm sure teachers say that a lot, but I truly believe it this year! This bunch of kids is special and they deserve everything I can give them. I work extra hard and long hours to be sure I am giving them all that they need and deserve in their education and beyond!
The outside struggles that my students face are such that I could have never even fathomed as a child.
I can't control what goes on outside of the school, but I can be sure that I give my students a quality education and happy memories while they are with me for almost 7 hours each day! I try to give my students new experiences daily so they can see the wonderful world outside of their small community. We use technology a lot to learn about the world around! It helps because a lot of my students don't have personal experiences to pull from!
My Project
My students like to spread out when they work, and with the flexible seating options I have now, we are kind of limited on how far we can move away from one another. I am looking for some new and engaging flexible seating options for my class. I think these easily movable, comfy seats will be the perfect addition to our flexible classroom.
I think students will be more successful if they are able to spread away from their classmates, but they still have the option to be comfortable while they are working!
This will help to continue to engage their brains.
