My Students
I am blessed with happy, curious, loving 3-5 year old non-verbal students who like to stay engaged and follow consistent routines. This school year, my classroom has been converted to a LINKS (Classroom focusing on the needs of students who are Autistic). We are in a low-income district and I am working hard to make sure all of my students' needs are met so they can have a better opportunity to have a successful school year.
I want them to have a classroom they can enjoy and thrive in!
My Project
All of our students are learning social skills that help them functionally play independently and with their peers. Having a diverse set of people and animals will help them explore and understand the world they live in.
They are learning readiness skills such as being able to take off and put on their clothing and personal belongings independently.
The Mobile Cubby will help tremendously.
Lastly, they are learning many emotional skills to help them learn and understand how they are feeling and appropriate ways to handle their feelings. Thank you!
