My students need Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats in order to comfortably hold group discussions, peer tutoring sessions, project planning, and great conversations!
I teach in a public school filled with eager minds who are curious about many different subjects. My classroom students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences and all have something to offer. Each day, they are ready to start with a smile and learn about new and exciting topics.
During the day at school, the students learn in many ways like group discussions, teamwork, conversations, problem solving... With so much screen time today, people are losing the spontaneity of face-to-face dialog.
My energetic students love when they get to work together.
They possess such creative and positive minds that I want them to be able to share their thoughts with one another. I would love to see these students become even more engaged in the discussions while in comfortable seating. They are a well-deserving bunch!
My Project
Choices already exist to move around our classroom when working independently or in a group. Some can sit at a table, a few can sit in random chairs, and a lot sit or lay on the floor. After awhile, the students begin to wiggle and move around to get comfortable after sitting for so long on the thin carpet covering a concrete floor.
The Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats would be a perfect addition to our classroom, and the students would love an option where they can sit back, relax, focus, and get their work done.
We would be so grateful for any number of Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats. They would be a great incentive for students to stay on task and cooperate with one another. Face-to-face dialogue is so important now in this time of technology. The Comfy Seats would allow students another option which increases motivation, creativity, and pure fun in learning with their classmates.
