My elementary students represent such diversity in a variety of ways! They have different home experiences and different learning experiences, all of which have helped shape who they are today. My job this year as their teacher is to provide them with the best possible year to help further enhance their life experience!

We are a large, Title I school with many struggling learners (including students experiencing transiency issues and homelessness) who need unique opportunities that a traditional student may not require.
My Project
This year nearly 600 students will spend time every week in our new Technology Learning Lab. With so many precious little people entering this space, it needs to be a room that is inviting, warm, and encouraging-especially for students who may not have such an atmosphere at home. This Flagship Carpets rug has a place for everyone and will help bring life and love into our lab!
My students deserve to feel comfortable in a clean and inviting learning space-for students struggling with homelessness and unstable home life a classroom becomes their space that shows they are valued.
I want them to grow and learn in a happy place that inspires them, sometimes a simple class decoration like a cozy carpet can do just that!
