My students need the bungee chairs for more flexible seating options in our room. The light filters will create a more calming, welcoming environment for all.

My Students

Our school is a beacon of light in many students' lives. We teach children from many different economic groups, cultures, and family backgrounds. In all corners of our school, students are encouraged to find their voice, their light, and their purpose in education. Regardless of the struggles that these students face daily, we are one of the top schools in the state.

Our school is truly a beautiful place where future leaders of America come daily to learn and grow.

My Project

Students love to move around, experiencing the classroom from different angles and different places. These bungee chairs will give them yet another comfortable option of seating while working and collaborating. The light filters are another option of removing some of the harsh brightness of the fluorescent lights for a more welcoming and calming atmosphere.

These chairs and the light filters will be yet another way of transforming my classroom into a welcoming environment for all students, for even if a student does not have an identified disability, they could all use a little more comfort and calming and nurturing in their day.
