Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students live in Pasadena,Texas. We are a Title 1 school and ninety percent of our students receive free lunch programs. Most of our families are immigrant families and have limited resources. Most families have both mother and father working full time jobs. Our students are eager to learn but lack resources needed to succeed.

My Project

I would really like to add these to my reading nook. I want to give me students a comfortable place where their imagination can roam free. Students sit in a traditional desk all day; having a comfortable spot for them to sit during independent reading time would be great. I would appreciate and love to see my students enjoy their reading on these comfortable and soft bean bags. I would place these chairs on a reading station so that every student in the class can have access to them. I would also like to use dyslexia resources to help my students struggling to read.
