My Students

My students are sweet third grade special education students. They come to me to learn reading and/or math. They love to learn new things! Most struggle with ADHD and need to constantly move. As we all know, its hard to learn when your body says to go!

So many times these students are told to sit down and hold still even when they truly can't help but to move.

Alternative seating allows their bodies to keep moving, but to stay in place at their desks.

My Project

It's so hard to sit still all day long! The Abilitations Bitty Bottom Seat Cushions are perfect for kids who need to wiggle, fidget or move! They improve balance, flexibility and circulation and help with focus and concentration.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

In order to maintain maximum attention, I would love to have a music stand to place my books and curriculum notes while allowing me to stand in front of the classroom to help keep my student's attention. Location! Location! Location!
