My Students

Our school is 100% free breakfast and lunch to all of our students.

Our school is a very diverse population with wonderful teachers and staff and students.

Many of our students live very hard lives (even harder than we can imagine). We, as teachers, try to make our school a home for all of our students. We try to make learning as fun as possible.

These students are ready to learn and we need to help them in any way that we can.

My Project

These materials will be used in the kids learning centers. The bean bags will be used in the reading center. At this age its hard for the kids to read quietly to themselves. The bean bags will give the kids some independence while they are reading.

The stools will be used in their Word Work and Writing centers.

I do not have enough chairs at school to be placed in the centers. The kids usually have to dragging their own chairs to the center. This causes unwanted commotion in the classroom. These stools will make a difference in my classroom.
