Comfortable Learning Environment using Flexible Seats

My Project

My project is to respect each student's learning style and provide a comfortable learning environment in the classroom. After going through the pandemic and distance learning, students have been forced to make lots of adjustments as they are physically coming back to school. Many students have shared about their learning area at home where they felt comfortable and relaxing, and I'd love to create the similar learning environment for them.

My goal is to create an environment where my students can feel comfy to be and maximize their engagement in learning.

I believe that flexible seating will help my students to improve focus in the classroom. I am planning to provide them chairs with wheels, chair bands, foot rollers and therapy (stability/yoga) balls in addition to traditional student desks and a standing desk in my classroom. I am planning to set a classroom rule and expectations regarding flexible seating options to make sure that they benefit all of my students. Please help me to create a comfy classroom!
