My students need different style tables for a flexible seating classroom. These adjustable tables will help with transforming my room into one that offers different seating options.
I’m moving up to 4th grade, and I will be looping with some of my old students. To help transform the room into a 4th grade classroom, my students would love flexible seating options. Most of the kids love working on the floor, in small groups, and lounging in bean bags. They love collaborating and working on projects together. I love the relationships and conversations they share together when working in partners or small groups. My kids also enjoy helping each other out!
My Project
The tables that I hope to receive will allow me to begin my first phase into transforming my room into a flexible seating classroom. My students will have the choice as to where they would like to sit and where they feel the most comfortable while they are working on their projects and activities. Allowing my students the freedom to move around in the room is so essential for a better coherent classroom. I always encourage my students to move around, but it is very limited because of the lack of choices that I have to offer. I would love to have different options available for my students this upcoming year.
