Help me give my students a variety of comfortable seating options for reading and small group work. By adding bean bags and a high top table. Students will be able to choose a learning environment that works best!
Students at my school come from a hardworking community. They come with an enormous range of abilities, backgrounds, and struggles. I am hoping to get funding to get comfortable and flexible seating in my classroom. I know that students will enjoy having a comfortable chair to use while they work.
We work hard to instill academic values into the hearts of ALL students, including the many of whom have not yet discovered the joy and importance of education.
I hope my students will find their love of education and improve the essential skills to be successful as they continue their educational journey.
My Project
I am hoping to add three bean bags and a high top cafe table with two chairs to my classroom for students to use during reading and work time. I know that students will enjoy having the choice of a variety of comfortable seats to use while they work. The bean bags would also be utilized for small group work and reading comprehension. Students love to stretch out on the floor but it can often be uncomfortable on the hard floors.
Comfortable seating in our classroom will help create a learning environment where students can thrive.
I feel that my students will be motivated to grow as readers and writers with the ability to choose a soft seat on the floor or a high top seat where they can swing their energetic legs.
My students will be able to focus on reading writing and mini-lessons in small groups without being uncomfortable. Thank you for considering my project. I truly appreciate your support.
