Help me give my students comfortable stools to sit on while working, bouncy bands to quite fidgets, thesaurus' to encourage better writing, mouses to make coding and cad easier, and the sorter and markers for everyday use.
As a teacher of A.L.L. (gifted) students, challenging them on every level is a monumental task. To help them be able to accomplish their educational goals, I want to have the means to provide them with a comfortable classroom that encourages learning. My students love to explore phenomenon and figure out why it occurs. Then they take it to the next level by trying to figure out how they can apply that knowledge to everyday situations. Research shows that using varied methods of seating, optional projects, and Student lead learning will lead to higher learning skills in the classroom.
I desire to create positive learning experiences during the school day by helping students succeed.
I can challenge and teach the skills needed to further their future careers in all fields including, technology, government, and engineering through creating a comfortable environment to work and learn in.
My Project
Research shows, "Using varied methods of seating, optional projects, and student-led learning will lead to higher learning skills in the classroom." I am trying to create a classroom that will provide every opportunity for students to learn and succeed.
My students need daily positive learning experiences.
The requested items will increase morale and efficiency during each school day. Rolling chairs help students work in groups more comfortably and they can easily maneuver during group work. Bouncy bands on the desks help students focus while they bounce their feet instead of fidget. Wireless mice help students work in CAD and coding more efficiently and Thesauruses help them write better essays and research papers. The sorter and dry erase markers are for organization and working on whiteboards during group work.
By helping my students succeed, I can challenge and teach skills needed to further their future careers in all fields including, technology, government, and engineering. The materials I am requesting will add to their comfort, creativity, and higher learning, building our future leaders.
